Christoper Henry "Chris" Webb (1866 to 1948) - The seventh child of William (Bill) and Sarah Wagg
This photograph of Chris Webb was generously provided by his great-grandson. Chris was the seventh child of Sarah and William Webb Wagg. He was born Henry Christopher Wagg on 17 October 1866 at Blues Point, NSW.
In 1892, Chris married Ellen Eliza Rogers at Redfern, NSW. He was known as Chris, and Ellen Eliza as Nellie. Together they had three daughters: Violet Manning “Vi” Webb (1893), Mabel Zie Glencora “May” Webb (1895), and Elsie Christine Webb (1902).
This photograph shows Chris on the right, taken at the home of his brother Hayden, at 14 Bray Street, Mosman. From right to left, those pictured are Beryl Woodlands (née Lutge), Josephine Webb Wagg (née Clancy), Hayden Webb Wagg, Ann Webb-Wagg (née McVean), and Stanley Webb.
